Who we are

Crewboot is a software service for small trade businesses. This draft describes how the service handles personal information. It is not a final policy. Contact tim@crewboot.com with questions or requests.

Information we collect

• Account details you give us when you create a company, such as your name, email address, and business name.
• Early-access requests: name, business name, email, trade, an optional phone number, the page that sent the request, and the browser user agent.
• Business records you enter, such as customers, estimates, jobs, schedules, invoices, price book items, and labor rates. You decide what to store about your customers.
• Sign-in and security data needed to keep your session working, including cookies set by the authentication service.

How we use it

• To run the product: estimates, jobs, schedules, invoices, and customer links.
• To reply about early access and to operate the founding beta.
• To protect accounts, investigate abuse, and fix errors.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use early-access emails for unrelated marketing lists.

Who else handles it

The database and authentication are hosted by Supabase. The application is hosted by Vercel. Those providers process data so the service can run. A customer who opens a share link sees only the estimate you chose to share, not your other records.

How long we keep it

Account and business records stay until you delete them or close the account, unless we need a copy to meet a legal duty or resolve a dispute. Early-access requests stay until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them to run the beta.

Security

Company records are separated in the database so one signed-in business does not receive another business's rows. Early-access submissions are write-only for the public site: the public key can add a request and cannot read the list. No method of storage is perfect. Email tim@crewboot.com if you believe an account was accessed without permission.

Your requests

Email tim@crewboot.com to ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion. If you use Crewboot for your own customers, you are responsible for their requests about the records you entered.

Children

Crewboot is a business tool. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

This page is a draft. When an attorney reviews it, we will replace this text and update the date at the top. Continued use of the service after that change means the published notice applies.
